This Country Needs a Leader

This country needs a leader who uses his influence at the right times – for the right reasons; Who takes a little greater share of the
blame and a little share of the credit;
Who leads himself successfully before
attempting to lead others;
Who continue to search for the best answer,
not the familiar one;
Who adds value to the people and
organization they lead;
Who works for the benefit of the others and
not for personal gain;
Who handles himself with his head and
handles others with their hearts;
Who knows the way, goes the way, and
shows the way;
Who inspires and motivates rather than
intimidates and manipulates;
Who lives with people to know their
problems and lives with ALLAH in order
to solve them;
Who tell people how to do things but
never tell them what to do;
Who learns from the masses and
then teach them;
Who remembers that our nation’s first great leaders
were also our first great scholars;
Who once convinced that a particular course of action is the right one,
and gets unworried when the going gets tough;
Who should rule
those are able to rule best;
Who is doing the right things but
as manager not doing things right;
Who leads his duties but
as a boss not drives.
Who is a dealer of hope not
a seller of house;
Who must have the courage to act
against an expert’s advice;
Who realizes that his disposition
is more important than his position;
Who figures opinion instead of
following opinion polls;
Who understands that an institution is
the reflection of his character;
Who never places himself above others
except in the carrying responsibilities;
Who will be as honest in small things
as in great things;
Who disciplines himself so he
will not be disciplined by others;
Who encounters setbacks and turns
them into comebacks;
Who follows a moral compass that points
in the right direction regardless of the
trends.
