The Thirst for Small Efficient Government and the Wish to Have a lion's Share for Ones clan are Two Mutually Exclusive Propositions

“Dawlad Tayale Ayaan Doonaya, Iyo Reerkayka Maxaa Wax Loo Siin Waayay Isma Qabtaan.”

Waxad Wada Ugtihiin Inaan Kujiro Wakhti Kala Guur Ah. Waxan Kujiraa Wakhti Kacdoon Ah. Waxan Inoo Balaabmay Twaradaa Lagu Baabinayay Nadaamka Qabiliga Ah. Reer Soomaaliland Waxa loo Baahan Yahay Inaan Nidaamka Qabiliga Ah An Ka korno. Dhinac Kasta Sidaa Ad Maanta Tihiin Idinka Ayaa Ugu Horeeya Dadka Afka soomaliga Kuhadla. Waxan An Layaabay Kuwii Qabiilkoodu Xukumayay Wadanka OO Loogu  Adkaystay Xukun Xumo, Qab Yaalad Cadaalad Daro, Eexad, Musuq Maasiq, Hanti Iyo Dhul Boob, Ayay durba Qaylinaya.

People saying, ” We want a small, viable, accountable and transparent government, and at same time would like to see their clan all over the wall will not add up.” That is a paradox of the highest order, that is a contradiction of all times. We must remember we are transitioning from the tribal society, paranoid, authoritarian, suspicious society, and linear society based on tribal chaos, unaccountable, and into a plurialistic, non tribal and fair society, based on democracy and the rule of law. We must know we are in a revolutionary era, a time of change. What s going is not smaller than the European renaissance, we are in a time of renewal, and a time of reflection. History thought us the old guard, the good old boys, the status quo, the old way of doing things will not go down easily. They will fight hard, they will raise hell, they will fight go away without a fight. Naturally the the old guard will fight with everything they can find, such as with their claws, teeth and any other means at their disposal. They will create outlandish stories, they will resort to any trick they can find to discredit, derail and demonized the revolutionaries, the agents of change, and those who are determined to move the nation forward and extract it from the darkness of clannism, sectarianism, despotism, nepotism, favoritism, mismanagement and lack of transparency. The tug of war between the old guard who wand to cling on their old ways and the new guard who those who want to dismantle the tools of the old guard will continue for a while, but eventually the righteous forces will win. The new guard are in a frantic quest to dismantle the old guard’s environment of corruption, mismanagement, poor leadership and lack of transparency. The old guard always usesl tribalism to hide their ineptness, corruption, nepotism and poor leadership. They can do anything and use the bogeyman-tribalism to disguise their flaws and shortcomings. Whenever they are in trouble, they call their bogeyman, tribalism and make false stories and exaggeration that the evil tribe X is out to get him. They will keep making attempts to invoke this declining card. They will try to sensationalize every little trivial thing and change it into a tribal thing. Often times, tribes and clans have a tendency to jump into conclusions. The tribe is always emotional and rarely weigh or analyze things. The tribal mentality lacks analytical prowess, foresight, fairness, civil discourse and balance. It is unilateral, nervous, sensational, frantic, agitated, delusional and impulsive. Usually the tribe never view their wrong doers from an objective perspective,  they rarely look at the facts in an  event, they have a tendency of immediately embracing and siding with their wrong doers without even looking into the facts in a particular situation. That is why so many bad people, wrong doers and even major offenders are fee and walking among tribal societies. That is why conflicts in some tribal societies are so intractable and difficult to resolve, for examples, Afghanistan, the former Somalia, Yemen, Sudan, Iraq, most of Africa and others.
