Open Letter to the President of Somaliland Republic

To President of the Republic of Somaliland: His excellency Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Mohamoud Silanyo

Hers Haji Ali and Mohamed Abdullai, the Somaliland foreign minister should be removed from power Now

A joint paper of advice put forth by the undersigned intellectual, professional and Concerned citizens

The position of the ministry of the presidency is a controversial position. It is a position which is overlapping to the elected position of the vice-presidency. Mr. President for the sake of the Republic of Somalland and and its dignified people who love their independence and sovereignty, you need to consider eliminating that position. We are wondering what was the idea behind the creation of that position in the first place. Moreover, even the foreign minister’s deep involvement in the campaign to discredit and took away all the power the constitutions was bestowed to him, the foreign minister is a person who fell short of doing his duties. He was plagued by inefficiency, incompetency and lack of articulation.

The time to replace the foreign minister Dr. Mohamed Omar is now. Instead of selling Somaliland to the world, he blatantly sided with Hersi Haji Ali a man who do not possess the temperament to be around presidency. Mr. Hersi has more than once showed his street and jungle temperament. The foreign minister has embroiled in some clannish activity, a time he failed to maintain duties of the important and sensitive ministry of foreign affairs. Mr. president if you do not take decisive action against these incompetent, clannish and shortsighted, they will inflict serious damage to Somaliland’s cause, the harmony between its people, And they will disappoint those who love Somaliland. Mr. president your drastic, earnest and swift decision is now. These men should be removed from power right now. It is now or never. It is time to name a competent and articulate person to the foreign ministry.
